The British Council announced the recipients of the Study UK Alumni Awards 2026 in Hong Kong on 25 April 2026. In total, 12 UK alumni in Hong Kong were recognised for their outstanding achievements as business professionals, entrepreneurs and community leaders, and for their contribution to strengthening ties between the UK and Hong Kong.
The prestigious international award celebrates the outstanding achievements of UK alumni around the world. Now in its twelfth year, the award received more than 1,800 applications from international UK alumni in more than 120 countries, representing more than 140 UK higher education institutions across the UK.
The Business and Innovation award was presented to Curtis Wong, a graduate of University of Exeter. Culture, Creativity and Sport Award was presented to Shi Qi Tu, a graduate of University College London. Science and Sustainability Award was presented to Dr Felix Leung, a graduate of Imperial College London and University of Exeter. The Social Action award was presented to Prof. Kevin Tai, a graduate of University College London, University of Oxford and Newcastle University.
The Global Alumni Awards winners will be announced in August 2026.
