The British Council has appointed Susannah (Susie) Morley to be the new Director Hong Kong, in succession to Jeff Streeter, who is retiring. This change is with effect from 8 August 2022.
Susie has been Director Partnerships North-East Asia, leading and supporting partnership pursuits, planning and coordination with corporates, foundations and philanthropic institutions for Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Australia and New Zealand.
Previously, Susie was Director Programmes and Partnerships in Hong Kong for three years where she was responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of the arts and education programmes and for developing strategic partnerships.
Susie originally trained as a book editor at the London College of Communication and worked in the publishing industry in London. She has a BA in History and an MA in PR and Communications.
