Prepare yourself and your child for the challenges of the new academic year. We invite you to attend our fun and practical English and phonics workshops for parents of Kindergarten and Primary students in September. Our experienced and qualified teachers will show you English learning techniques and tips that you can apply at home.
On the day of the event, parents can help to book a free English level test* (P1-P6) or phonics assessment* (K2-P1) for your child and enjoy special offers for registering for our English courses.
Activities are held in English or in English and Cantonese. Please refer to the schedule below. All activities are free of charge and available only with advance registration on a first-come, first-served basis (walk-in registration will not be available).

Learning through play (FULL) Playtime is serious business for children - it’s their gateway to learning and social development. Come to these sessions and gain practical experience by doing fun activities that will encourage children to use English. We will also introduce how our Kindergarten courses can support your child in language development. |

Phonics (FULL) In this session, we will share fun ways to get children working on their letter sounds, letter formation, blending and segmenting. We will also introduce how our Phonics courses can help your child on pronunciation. |

How to help your children with their writing skills (FULL) Many Primary students in Hong Kong find writing in English challenging. In this workshop, our teacher will provide learning tips on how you can help your child to improve their writing skills as well as how our new Primary English courses - Primary Plus - help your child in this area. |

How to improve the English and life skills of your child (FULL) In this session, our teachers will provide tips on helping your child to improve their English skills and develop their life skills such as collaboration, critical thinking, leadership, and more. We will also introduce how our new Primary English courses - Primary Plus - help your child in these two areas. |

How to help your children with their speaking skills We will explore various activities that you can do with your child at home to improve their confidence in speaking English. *Free English level tests are only available to Primary 1 to 6 new students who have not taken our English entry test in the last six months (19 March to 18 September 2015).
This workshop is for parents only. Each parent can register for one activity only. If a parent registers for more than one activity, only the latest registration record will be valid.
