We are currently running our English classes and Exams as outlined below.

Playgroup, kindergarten and Primary 1-3 in-centre English classes to run as scheduled

After consulting with the Education Bureau (EDB), as a private provider of English classes who is not subject to the current kindergarten suspensions, we will continue with in-centre English classes as scheduled until 6 December 2020 for those who wish to attend.

This applies to:

  • Stay and Play
  • Playgroup
  • Phonics
  • Success in Starters
  • Kindergarten Foundation
  • Kindergarten 1 to 3

Please be assured that we take the health of our young students very seriously. With this in mind, we will continue with our strict hygiene, social distancing and other precautionary measures already in place, which include:

  • Compulsory mask wearing
  • Temperature checks
  • Spacious, well-ventilated classrooms
  • Reduced class sizes
  • Maintenance of social distancing in the classrooms and for queuing
  • Regular disinfection of public areas and all rooms after each class
  • Provision of hand sanitisers in all rooms and public areas

If your child displays symptoms of an upper respiratory tract infection, please stay at home. We will monitor class attendance over the next two weeks and if you have chosen not to send your child to class you will automatically be given course credits for the classes your child has missed.  They are valid for one year. You may use the course credits towards future courses with the British Council.

To contact us, please email enquiries@britishcouncil.org.hk or call us on 2913 5100.

With many thanks for your cooperation and understanding.
