After considering the latest advice from the Education Bureau on Private Schools offering Non-Formal Curriculum (PSNFCs or Tutorial Schools), we have decided the following with regards to our English classes and Exams.

Please be assured that the health, safety and well-being of our customers, staff and the community in which we operate is our top priority.  

English Courses

From Wednesday 17 February, we will resume as follows: 

In-centre

Stay and Play (Admiralty centre)

Playgroup (Admiralty centre)

Kindergarten 1 to 3 (Admiralty centre)

Kindergarten Foundation (Admiralty centre)

Phonics (Admiralty centre)

Success for Starters (Admiralty centre)

P1 to P6 (Admiralty centre classes, Tsuen Wan - Wong Siu Ching Secondary School, Yau Ma Tei – Yaumati Catholic Primary School, Shatin - Lam Hon Kwong School)

Secondary S1 to S5 (offsite venues only; those at Admiralty centre will remain online)

DSE Exam Preparation (S6) (Admiralty centre)

Online

The following classes usually at the following venues will take place online:

  • All primary courses usually at Whampoa - Alliance Primary School 
  • Secondary S1 to S5 (usually at Admiralty centre)

Arrangements for Adult classes remain unchanged. 

The health and safety of all our students is our main priority at all times. We will comply closely with the EDB’s recommendations of capping the number of students at no more than 1/3 of our maximum capacity. 

We will continue to monitor absences and give automatic credits to those who choose not to send their child to class during this time.

Exams

Cambridge ESOL exams are currently suspended for the whole of January, February and March. It will be announced on this page when registrations reopen and exams resume.

IELTS (paper-based and computer delivered), professional and academic exams will continue as scheduled, with strict hygiene and social distancing measures in place.

General

Our Admiralty and Tsim Sha Tsui centres are closed to the general public until further notice. You may only access our buildings to attend an  English class or exam. Any other access is strictly by appointment only. 

For those who are permitted to attend our centres, we have strict hygiene and social distancing measures in place, which include:

  • Compulsory health and travel declarations
  • Compulsory mask wearing
  • Temperature checks
  • Spacious, well-ventilated classrooms and exams venues
  • Reduced class sizes
  • Maintenance of social distancing in the class and exams rooms and for queuing
  • Regular disinfection of public areas and all rooms after each class and exam
  • Provision of hand sanitisers in all rooms and public areas

Please note that if you are notified by the government or medical authorities to attend for a Covid-19 test, please do not use our services until you know your result is negative.
