  • Grow vocabulary through stories, songs, and games focused on seasonal themes
  • Build communication and social skills through teamwork and playful interaction
  • Strengthen fine and gross motor skills with hands-on crafts, movement, and creative play

A wonderful first step in nurturing confidence and language readiness for school.

Help your child build essential skills and bloom with confidence this spring through our Friendship Safari course, inspired by Eileen Browne’s much‑loved story Handa’s Surprise. Children journey with Handa across the African savannah as they strengthen early‑literacy, communication, and creative expression in engaging, story‑based activities.

In this course, children will:

  • Explore the Story Follow Handa’s journey through guided reading, sequencing, and simple retelling with a strong EDI focus on raising awareness of different culture of Africa.
  • Grow Vocabulary Learn key English words about animals, fruits, actions, and feelings through games and movement with a strong emphasis on using adjectives to describe tastes, textures, colour and shapes of fruits.
  • Build Speaking & Listening Confidence Practise clear speaking, active listening, and confident communication through storytelling and role‑play and show and tell session with our parents to show case our fruit art.
  • Strengthen Early Reading Skills Develop phonics awareness and comprehension by predicting, describing characters, and sharing ideas.
  •  Express Creativity Use English creatively through drama, puppetry, and fruit art.
