Role overview
We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic, dedicated teachers to join our teaching team on a part time hourly paid basis. We are keen to appoint staff who can demonstrate good professional skills, are willing and able to learn and develop, and are good members of a team. We are particularly looking for, but not exclusively, qualified teachers with a preference for Early Years and Primary ages and those who are available to work on The vast majority of hourly-paid work is on a Saturday and/or Sunday although there may infrequently be the opportunity for work on other days. It may involve travel to one of our branch centres and will more than likely involve teaching Young Learners. There is the possibility of extra working hours on Monday to Friday during Summer Courses (July and August)
The Hong Kong teaching centre is a large centre, teaching a range of Very Young Learner and Young Learner courses. We provide a range of development opportunities to enable our teachers to obtain recognised qualifications and develop their teaching skills.
The rates are HK$440 per contact hour TEFL-I qualified teachers / HK$490 per contact hour TEFL-Q qualified teachers.
Applicants must have a first degree/or equivalent and a TEFL-I qualification (CELTA or equivalent) or TEFL-Q qualification (B.Ed/PGCE with QTS, DELTA or equivalent). You must be a highly proficient speaker of English.
Please note that hourly paid teacher applicants need to hold valid Hong Kong work visas / dependant visas / Hong Kong permanent residency in addition to meeting the requirements above.
