Role overview
You will be responsible for developing and delivering a communications strategy which positions the UK and the British Council in priority sectors of focus in line with the country strategy. You will be managing the overall British Council brand and narrative across all businesses, building on areas where we have strong brand recognition and broadening awareness so that the wider value we deliver as a cultural relations body is recognised; refining and amplifying a compelling narrative for what we do in Hong Kong and the benefits this brings to Hong Kong, to the UK and to partners.
To be successful, you should possess a First degree and bring along minimum 5 years’ experience working in a Communications role at management level. Education and/or work experience in UK or with an international organisation will be an advantage. You should also possess good language proficiency in both English and Cantonese.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written test as part of the selection process.
