The British Council in East Asia is looking to hire a Cluster Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of the marketing strategy for exams and plans for all countries within the Cluster(s), ensuring alignment to the cluster/regional and global marketing strategy and brand, and to work in partnership with the Exams Business Unit to ensure that country marketing programmes enable required business targets.

Role overview

Reporting to the Director Exams Marketing, East Asia, you will lead Country Marketing Managers in planning and execution of exams marketing strategy for their respective countries, ensuring that it drives and supports the region’s strategic objectives for the British Council in a flexible, cost-effective way.

To perform in this role, you need considerable experience in a management position at a regional level within a large and complex organisation with the capability to lead and manage a small/remote team successfully. You need to be a marketer with integrated marketing experience including marketing  communications, branding, digital and PR, capable of developing marketing strategies and plans, based on data and market insight. Ability to effectively manage supplier relationships is essential
