Sitting within the Regional Exams Marketing Team, you will lead the creation, development and execution of the regional marketing strategy and campaigns for exams and plans for EA countries roll out with the Cluster Marketing Manager, ensuring alignment to the regional and global exams marketing strategy and brand, and to work in partnership with SBUs to lead cross SBUs campaigns and programmes, from creation to roll out.

British Council examinations business is of strategic importance to the British Council, and vital to the organisation’s ongoing ability to deliver its charitable objectives. In East Asia, we run exams operations in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Korea, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Japan, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand and Burma.

You will be working with a wide range of stakeholders on the localisation of global campaigns plus creation, development and execution of regions initialised exams marketing initiatives and campaigns. This involves within team collaboration (online, content, insights) and across team collaborations (global/regional/country).

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Considerable experience in a marketing management position at a regional level within a large and complex organisation.
  • A marketer with integrated marketing experience including marketing communications, branding, digital and PR
  • Demonstrable experience of developing marketing campaigns from idealisation to completion including reporting
  • Demonstrable experience of project management and risk management
  • Demonstrable experience in managing supplier relationships
  • Relevant external professional organisations e.g. CIM, Melcrum, GCN, CIPR, WOMMA etc. (or equivalent experience in relevant discipline)
