As a Core Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible

To improve quality in the classroom by providing training and support to Teaching Assistants.
To work in partnership with the academic team and teachers to create a positive learning environment for Very Young Learners (VYL)
To be a regular TA in supporting the academic time table and an ad-hoc sub if required
To support the wider aim of British Council and its cultural relation mission.

As a Core Teaching Assistant, your main responsibility is:

To improve quality in the classroom by providing training and support to Teaching Assistants.
To work in partnership with the academic team and teachers to create a positive learning environment for Very Young Learners (VYL)

To support the wider aim of British Council and its cultural relation mission.

To be considered a successful candidate, you must have:

HKDSE / GCSE or equivalent
Experience of working as part of a team
Experience of working with Young Learners
Communication skills in ensuring right message is transmitted
Computer skill with knowledge of word, excel and power point.
Good written and oral Communication skills in English and Cantonese
Compulsory training will be provided on Safeguarding & Child Protection; Equity Diversity & Inclusion and Health & Safety.
Communicates clearly and effectively with good communication skills in both Cantonese and English.
